A visa is a written permission issued by the appropriate authority so that you can cross the border of a given country. In some cases it can be obtained at the border, in others it must be taken care of in advance. The laws regarding the visa process are changing, so in addition to basic visa information, we've also collected information about consulates where you can get help. Let us focus on tourist visas.
There are several ways to get a Vietnam visa - it's important to take care of it before you go to the airport. The airlines may not let you on board if you forget about the visa! And there are 3 types:
This is a traditional way of applying for a visa. Requires a visit to the Embassy of Vietnam (Warsaw, 36 Resorowa Street) and submission in the appropriate window: visa form, color photo (passport format 4x6cm), passport (valid for a minimum of 6 months from the planned date of departure from Vietnam) and visa fee (about moment).
The most important part of getting this visa is the promise. This is a document that you can get, for example, HERE . Only with this document, issued by the Department of Immigration of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, can you obtain a visa at the airport, if you land at these ports: Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh), Da Nang Airport (Da Nang) or Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) . You will not cross the border with the promise if you travel by land. You pay the promise fee at the intermediary whose services you use, and for the visa - at the airport.
This process has been in operation since the beginning of 2017, when Vietnam has enabled many countries to apply for a visa online. You can submit your application HERE or HERE . The entire procedure for issuing a visa, including the submission of an application and payment, is made directly on the government website. However, this only applies to a single entry visa valid for 30 days. The whole process should be completed before your departure, and you should go to the airport with your printed e-visa.

Since 2011, Polish citizens can enter Thailand without a visa if their stay is less than 30 days. So if you're flying to Thailand by plane or crossing the border by land - you don't have to worry about a visa. Remember, however, that you can do it only twice in one calendar year! All you need to do is show a passport at the border (valid for a minimum of 6 months), a valid return flight ticket and you may be asked to show funds for your stay (10,000 Baht per person or 20,000 Baht per family).
However, if you plan to stay in Thailand for more than 30 days, you should apply for a tourist visa. It can be single (valid 3 months from the date of issue) or multiple (valid 6 months from the date of issue), both allow you to stay on the territory of Thailand up to 60 days from the moment of crossing the border. To do this, you need a completed application, passport valid min. 6 months, passport photography, copy of flight ticket (departure), confirmation of booking accommodation. In the case of a multiple-entry visa, please attach proof of possession of min. PLN 20,000 (account statement from 3 months or confirmation from the bank - in English).
You can apply for a visa in person, at least 2 weeks in advance at the Thai Embassy:
